Diabetes Association of Salem

The seeds for DAS- Diabetes Association of Salem was sown in the year 2010 as Diabetes club of Salem with the aim of having a common forum to all those who have common interest in the field of Diabetology. As the encouragement for the new venture was more than expected it was decided to have a more structured forum. Thus, DAS was born in the year 2012.

The First Conference

The First conference was conducted in the year 2013 and since then DAS has been successfully conducting its annual conference every year in the Tamil Month of Aadi.
DAS is successful and sets in own benchmark in sharing new ideas, research material, newer advances and clinical material to all the doctors in and around Salem. DAS annual summit has been well attended, well received as well as doctors around the four districts are really looking forward year after year.
